Sunday July 27, 2008, We knew last week that this Sunday would be special and it was!!! Elder Henry James preached the word of God. There are times when the things that are not said are just as meaningful and impacting as those words that are spoken. Elder James did not say that all unrighteousness will find itself in the lake of fire and brimstone. He did not say that uncleanliness, vile conversation, lovers of filthy lucre, a lying tongue or that those who worship God in vain would have their place in the lake of fire and brimstone. But what he did say was Holy, Wholly, Holy !!!! You must be Holy, you must be wholly holy.
Halleuhah!!! if you could just stop and think about those words just for a moment. Holy, Wholly, Holy. People of God and those that desire to be, make it a practice to repeat those words a few times each day. Holy, wholly, Holy. If you are not sure what they mean, get your Bible and follow the Elder as he delves into the scriptures. AFter you view the clips, you will have a clear and concise understanding of Holy, Wholly, Holy. Now repeat them to yourself giving thought to each word and its meaning individually then put them back together in the phrase, ask God to deliver and get on with serving the Lord thy God.
