............"For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;" Hebrews Chapt 3 vs 14

Giving honor and thanks unto our precious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Sunday January 27th was a service that will not be soon forgotten.  The Lord Jesus Christ spoke to us today through Brother Floyd Walker and Elder Henry James.  Brother Walker allowed the Lord to use him in song and in words as he inspired us to hold onto the rock and that Christ was the rock of our salvation.

He cited several scriptures that pointed that Jesus is the rock yet he has left pillars of strength for us in the church to also lean.  The congregation was moved and so was Elder James who continues along the theme set by Brother Walker.  Elder James directed us to Psalms chapt 42 and V 1 that tells us how we ought to thirst after the Lord and used the text by Brother Walker to show us that when we find Christ, to hold on to that rock

My Lord and My God what a time we had last Sunday and we are praying and looking forward to Sunday February 3, 2008.
